Hari Raya Meet up @ Anisah's & SYF art exhibition @ Raffles City

my first hari raya visit was given to the adv dippies @ Anisah's place....

very professionally set up ....drool drool even before we started on our attack.... these white ketupats were so interesting... didnt know original one looked like this wor.... always thought they should be green.....  heee

was too busy chatting till I forgot to take a pic of the food.... 'borrowed' this pic from Pauline's fb....

coke in a mini bottle... reminds me of childhood days...

best dessert ever... snickers/mars cake.... very sinful very heavenly.... yummmzzzz.....

Headed for the SYF Art Exhibition at Raffles City after the visit

and bumped into Sherine who couldnt join us at Anisah's place earlier on.....

very impressive artwork this year.... most revolving around the SG 50 theme...

Luving this series below.... plastercine on washing board.... very creative display method....

another creative medium used

Printmaking

Painting on coasters

Paper Quilling

Claire's "A Toast to Mr Lee Kuan Yew"

humongous paper game that i used to play when i was so very the young...

recycled paper

my favourite would be this sand art animation.... just because it's from JPS.... =P

missing the colleague whose name is at the end of the video.....

actually, alot of the art activities such as paper quilling, modelling clay, printmaking and paper making
featured in this exhibition had been incorporated into the art curriculum which i planned in JPS... but i just lack the creativity to put together the kids' work to form one displayable piece or to guide a group of kids towards a common displayable piece.... still need to put in more effort and research in this area....

On the ground level was a Lego Exhibition on SG 50

this is the super big aquarium at Wisma Shopping Centre where i was always parked at when 蔡 mummy went shopping....

is the red man Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the man behind Singapore's development???
