Pre Tasmania Trip

Yuan and Tony came to home sweet home just so to brief mr ang and i on our Tasmania trip that's gonna to happen this sunday.... i am so so so excited ..... thank you so much for doing All the planning and allowing us to leech onto them... in return, i will try my best not to poison the both of you with my horrid cooking .... heee

Flight:
We would be flying by Qantas at $1266.30 each. 8 hours from Singapore to Sydney, transit 3 hours before another 2 hours to Hobart, the heart of Tasmania.

Visa:
is required and can be applied online via the Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) website at aud$20 each. Approval is automatically linked to our passport hence there's no need for print-outs/ documentation/ reference number to be presented upon check-in and arrival. Hassle free... i like!!!

went into hardwarezone and found that there's a Ms Kang whom has helped and is still helping many many hardwarezone members to apply for australia visa in a more efficient and cheaper manner.... may check it out for my next trip to australia... =)

Insurance:
got it from NTUC income at $39 per pax. =)

Transportation:
It would be our very very first self-drive holiday. Just because there are 4 of us and of which 3 are drivers and me the free loader.... heee..... we gonna rent a 2L lancer for 10 days with full insurance and GPS at aud$767.70 exclusive of petrol from Redspot Car Rental. Estimated cost of petrol  is approx aud$205. Average out to be aud$250 per pax for the whole trip.
